Wow, these girls take some getting use to...

Being the only boy can be rough!
But they have some cool toys.

I'm pretty sure this is Addison...
and this is Delainey.

I was feeling pretty confident that I can tell the girls apart, but I had a little trouble with the pictures of them without their signature colors and when they weren't pictured together, but hopefully I got it right. Addison's head is just a tad rounder than Delainey's. In the last picture Delainey is in the middle and Addison is on the end. In the first picture, I believe it's Addison behind Jack and she just got finished pulling his hair. It's the kind of activity more commonly associated with Delainey, but in this case I think Addison was the culprit. I'm sure Jack will get even at some point. It's so much fun to watch them all play now. I love being an Aunt. Speaking of being an Aunt. I can't wait to see my adorable nephews, Wilson and Walker, come February. My trip to Oklahoma can't come soon enough.

New Year's Eve and After

I usually dress Jack right away, but on New Year's Eve Day he was just so excited to be unclothed that I let him play that way for awhile. We had a very good day together. He played so much I was even able to bake a cake. Aunt Lo, Uncle Joe and Chance came over to help us ring in the New Year. Chance and Jack had tons of energy.

Come New Year's Day Jack, who hardly naps, wanted to sleep most the day.

He wasn't too happy with us waking him, but now it's 10:21 p.m. and we're wondering when he'll go to sleep. Ahhh, the joys of parenthood, just when you think you've got something figured out, these babies throw a wrench into things.

9 Month Photo

Here's Jack at age 9 months. As you can see he's learned a new skill.
